RI-8010 is a most advanced version of digital ECCM transceiver with its newly developed unique data error correction(FEC2) technology, spread spectrum, frequency hopping, powerful synchronization method and VLBRVC. It provides perfect error-free communication under very strong gauss noise, large fading and multi-path delay and strong electronic band jamming. The combination of the peculiar spread spectrum technology and frequency hopping technology makes it one of the most reliable and viable HF transceiver in the world.
The embedded Communication Security (COMSEC) module which can be changed or modified by the User at his will provides super level of Data/Voice Encryption.
Anti-jamming
The embedded unique data error correction(FEC2) technology recovers 100% of data with the multiple burst error of up to 75%. The combination of such new technologies such as spread spectrum, frequency hopping and powerful synchronization method ensures reliable data communication in a difficult HF band even under strong gauss noise, large fading, multi-path delay and strong spectrum electronic jamming with its time factor reaching nearly 90%.
Frequency hopping technology provides the User with 2128 ~ 2256 different narrow band hopping codes.
RI-8010 transceiver’s spread spectrum technique, also, provides satisfactory secure communication in gauss noise of – 16dB or, CW jamming or cross-interference of –5dB.

Very Low Bit Rate Voice Compression (VLBRVC)
Recently developed, advanced voice compression algorithms have very low bit rate, with good voice quality. The RI-8010’s VOCODER provides encrypted speech in throughput of 2400/1200/600 bps.
Strong Encryption Capability
The RI-8010’s built-in COMSEC module, uses 128/192/256 bits RIJNDAEL(OFB) for stream ciphering. Transmission Encryption Key (TEK) can be replaced in any time with secure authentication and key agreement protocol, which is based on the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem, most advanced public key system. Based on User's need, encryption algorithm can be customized.
Data/message transmission
Using the RI-8010’s self-illuminating LCD display and Keypad, User can edit, send/receive and view text messages. RI-8010 can be connected to the computer through RS- 232c port and send/receive files, image and video. Software program for Data transmission is provided as standard (SHIELD 5.0).
Automatic Link Establishment (ALE)
The automatic link establish (ALE) allows the transceiver to automatically select the best operating frequencies making communication easier and more reliable for the operator. Up to 100 programmable channels are available, as well as channel scanning groups. The enhanced ALE can be used together with ECCM, encryption and data functions to establish the best radio link in the most secure HF communication environment. The ALE allows the transceiver to be easily switched between frequency hopping and non-frequency hopping modes any time.
Low maintenance cost
The use of state-of-art Digital Signal Processing( DSP) and Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) in RI-8010 provides significant advantages in reliability over analog transceivers. RI-8010 is housed in a small enclosure package with proof against strong shock, humidity and vibration, therefore has good functionality.
